Here are the advertisement methods I can think of right now: 1. Directories 2. Forum signatures 3. General link exchange 4. Adwords or somehting like it 5. Advertising forums 6. Local advertising Are there any other advertising methods than these? What type of paid advertising will yield the best results?
Here are a few more: Television/radio/print advertising. Word of mouth. Postal mail shots. Email advertising. Stationary advertising (brand/website printed on pens, coffee mugs, mousemats, baseball caps etc). Event sponsorship (advertising boards at sports events etc). The types that yield the best results really depend on what you're actually advertising.
1) Word of mouth 2) Mentions on extremely popular and notable sources (like a TV report, or mentioned in a relevant magazine) 3) Links on relevant sites 4) Social Networking
Hi, The best advertising method is Forum posting Yahoo answer Directories Reciprocal links Article submission
For me the best advertising option is by using the means of article marketing techniques. A ezine article with backlinks to your blog or website will serve as a media to draw potential traffic too.
If you don't mind saying how much traffic you get from ezine daily. I am curious, thinking of giving it a shot.
Yeah, basically I may be getting more than 500 visitors daily...but the thing is very hypothetical ...depends on the how powerful your article is?, and also whether for a particular keyword its getting a first page google rank.
Postal mail shots are sending letters via snail mail promoting your product/website/brand (leaflet drops could also come under this category). Email advertising is only spamming if it is spam - not all emails are spam.
Here is 45 ways of free and paid advertising, building links, etc. where most of them work. The best one of all would be viral marketing.
Video infomercials of your offer work better than text description at generating high quality targeted traffic. An incentivised Tell-A-Friend form placed as the first screen seen after someone signs up to your offer.
