And when they are, Google reinstates them. But you know as well as I do that 99.9% of these are bogus "I'm inncoent" claims. And judging from the information in this thread, I highly doubt that Google made a mistake in this case.
What are you basing that on? Is that part of the "Google can never be wrong, we can trust them because they tell us we can" school of thought? And what are you basing that on? What information? The fact that he said he was innocent, or the fact that he emailed Google? How the hell can you possibly make an assessment based on what he said in this thread? -Michael
Take a look at Tearabite's post and then look at some of badger's other posts and you start to wonder about his traffic sources and content.
Well this happened before to me. Someone clickbombed me and I reported it right away to google with no problems. However this time I was away on a trip and did not have time to check my account. I didnt do anything wrong. The way I brought traffic in was by buying an AD on a similar site. Its 12pm here in Japan so its still around 7pm USA time... I will wait until monday to see what happens.
I don't see it. Nothing I saw in his other posts (and I looked, willing to bet minstrel didn't bother to do that) indicated that he was involved in click fraud as far as I can tell. -Michael
in my post i referred to some old posts that the OP made about earning over $1k, and asking how/where to buy traffic.. The OP explained these comments above. The OP PM'd me his website and I took a look.. i didnt see anything that really jumped-out at me as being a glaring TOS violation..
You can never ever get your account back... Better apply in some of your friends name and start making money... don't waste your time in appealing. You see my friends had their accounts closed for no reason... and they say that they had invalid clicks... One thing is for sure... YOU CAN NOT GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK.
That is simply not true. I personally know of a couple of cases of sharp jumps in click through rates where the excplanation for those jumps was supplied to Google and the AdSense accounts were reinstated. One of those was a prominent DP member.
I will be the first to admit that yes Google do reinstate. But the process of reinstating is not always fair, even if you are innocent. I had my account banned, but was lucky enough to pull some strings and get back into the program. I had a friend who was banned, and he could not get back in. That sucks. Also all the proxy owners who got their accounts banned were unwilling participants of a click bomb attack, they provided all the information they possibly could but Google did not reinstate them.
