Hi, I got a mail from CJ it says "Commission Junction is currently investigating your account and has the following inquiries regarding your promotional methods: Please describe how you drive your traffic. Why is so much of it coming from the same computer(s) that you use? Please respond by replying to this specific e-mail within five days of delivery date. If you are reading this notice through your CJ Account Manager (Mail tab) and do not have access to the e-mail notice, please respond using Ask a Question, available through the “Contact Us†lik available in account manager, and include this original message. Failure to respond may result in Commission Junction exercising its right to terminate the Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement upon 15 days of this written notice." Please guide me about what to do next. I drive traffic directly by redirection of cPanel. I havent placed any links in a website. Also I used to register some web hosting accounts from my own links with permission from that company. Also, in case they terminate my account then will they cancel the last payment. I got the payment check for July and have deposited that with bank. Will they cancel that payment?
Do what the email requests you of doing and be 100% honest. Those guys at CJ in the fraud dept are pretty sharp and they've been around for a LONG time so they pretty much have encountered everything under the sun. So just let them know how the traffic is being generated stey by step with the full details. Don't try to hide anything even if it might look bad. Its your best chance to not get terminated. Because if you look like your hiding something you will be terminated.
I dont think that there is any problem with your JULYs payment. As the check was issued then most probably you can cash that. My guess is that incase they ban you then they will held only the pending commissions and not the paid commissions. Stopping a payment costs them $25 so they are not likely to do that. Somebody correct me if am wrong........
I think he means that he redirects traffic through his htaccess ... It's weird...is this not allowed under CJ rules? I thought it was....i think everyone does it...
