Well I just received the dreadful news that one of my closest friends has been run over by a car. I've yet to hear the full story, but from what I've heard is that he was hit when crossing the road. The car was travelling at approximately 50-60km/h. He was rushed to hospital - I haven't heard anything on his condition as yet. I've been told not to tell any of my friends until his condition is definite, but I've found it really hard to keep something like this to myself. It's hard to think that all of my friends will continue their lives today not knowing that one of their closest friend's life is in the balance. I just needed to post this as I felt it was necessary to let my emotions out and tell "someone". Please pray for him and his family. Cheers.
Best of luck to you & your friend With all due respect to how you handle grievance, the internet is not the place to be. Spend time with him/her, spend time with loved ones. We will always be here, your friend might not be.
I have to be honest here, I think you should tell them. My friend died on 4/12/05 in a car crash, his friend was driving the car and a tire clipped the curb, flipped the car and it landed upside down on the car, all 3 of them n the car where air lifted to hospital but he died at the scene. My mates were closer to him and i know they went through hell, he was the nicest guy ever aswell, was only 17 at the time. I'm sure your friend will be fine however just in case they want to leave the person messages or visit or anything, if there religious they may even want to pray for them.
Well I just visited him and he's fine, other than a few bumps and bruises. I'm not a strong believer of God, but for him to make it out of this without any major injuries, something must've been with him. Thanks for all the kind messages.

Glad everything turned out relatively well . There are too many threads on DP like this now, it's very sad....
