I have a new movie/music download site. I was planning on 75% payout for affiliate commissions. There is additional incentive for users who sign up to get their friends to signup (free lifetime memberships after they get two of their friends to signup). I see there is a lot of entertainment/movie/music download style sites on Clickbank, should I bother using their affiliate program to get some initial users? Ofcourse I have other means of generating traffic once the site is launched but I was thinking clickbank might give me an additional boost. anyone have any experiance with this?
I must say I been dealing with Click bank for a few years now and they are a very good company I had no problems with them at all. GOOD LUCK
there are too many music and movie downloads sites in clickbank and almost all of them ( according to my knowledge ) just show their members how to download from torrent sites. So, if your site is different from others, it is better to join clickbank and promote it's unique features.
Personally I don't know about being a vendor with click-bank but as a person who has worked with click-bank as an affiliate I know first-hand that they often have problems with credit card processing. This problem is HUGE as in can cost in many many burnt sales
I would go with Clickbank because of their large network of affiliates that you can pick up from the marketplace.
Yep. Id say so. its cheap and informative and I provide licensed software FREE with membership that is very useful in itself for a quarter of what competators charge.
Just because you product made it to the marketplace does not mean that you will get affiliates to promote your product. Clickbank marketplace ranks products by its popularity (how popular is this product to affiliates), so if you just listed a product in the marketplace, it will all the way to the bottom of the list. Setting your payout high (above 50%) helps.
If your site is really different from other sites of the same product, CB is the best place to be with.
