Thank you, Tbarr. I have not come across this, or hadn't recalled this. I haven't read the book in over 30 years, and I am obviously mistaken. The quote you give is a beautiful one, in my mind.

I took my lead from Christ's caution on worrying on provisioning, on worldly things:

    -Matthew 6:25-34

I took it so to heart that I took it literally - abandoned home and school, at 13-14.

It's in Old Testament, so it's irrelevant for you Catolics

I can point where it's banned in Constitution, if it helps

    Huh, huh and huh?

Where in the Old Testament is paper money banned?

Where did you read I was a catholic or even anything related to Catholicism?

    Where in the constitution?

I think you said in another thread that Old Testament was abolished? So I figured you must be a Catholic or some other variety. Maybe it was another poster, sorry
I don't remember where it is in Old Testament, it's a big book.
Fortunately Constitution is not. Here it is -

    Article 1, Section 10, section 1

No State shall…coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debt

I never said the Old Testament was abolished. Go back and read my posts. You are the one that screams that Christians all do such and such, but somehow have proven to not even know what Christ said on many occasions. Are you not the one who is trying to find a way to have more than one wife?

Constitutionally, that reads to me that a state can't make their own type of money to pay a debt. I am not a constitutional lawyer though.
