$20 header contest for city portal

I need a header for my city portal Allt om Nynäshamn

- Nynäshamn is a coastal town and I want the header to reflect that.

- An idea I have is that the header should be the harbour of Nynäshamn seen from the see as in this picture. it does not have to be 100% alike that pictures but details as the church is a must.

- The header width should be full screen.

- The text should be: Allt om Nynäshamn

This contest will run for 5 days under the condition that at least 5 different designers enter the contest. If not I will extend it for another 3 days.

The prize is $20 and will be paid via PayPal or MoneyBookers.

Oh I'm sorry I thought that came from your website. I also don't know if it voids copyright since I edited and extended the picture. Hmm.. I don't understand because other people are also using pictures, which you also don't have the rights to. Would you feel more comfortable if I just googled images for your town and used those instead?

I'm going to check with the copywriting forum about this.. I'll tell you what they say

Here is another entry.. It is a few images cut and put together as other people have done, whether that changes copyright rules or not..

 

I dont think anything you do to a copyrighted picture will change or undo the copyright.

That's what I was thinking, thats why I wasn't sure how anyone's entry would work since they are all using photos that I assume we don't have rights to.

 

Some of the photos in this contest are free public domain images. I don't know about the other ones because it would take forever to look up.

 

The thing is that this is a small town and th guy that took that picture would not be glad if I used it with out his permission. A part of this picture where things have been cut out would be ok I think but not to use the whole picture I believe.
