It depends basically both are sort of like remittance services except that Western Union deals in real money and e-gold does virtual money supposedly backed by gold. However as for the sender, since it is just remittances once the money is sent, it cannot be disputed by you and you have no recourse to get back the money even if the other party does not fulfil their side of the deal. However, if you are asking if the money will reach them safely then I would say that Western Union should be quite safe. E-gold should be safe since if someone send you egold, you will see the amount in your account then it all depends on whether the exchangers that you use is trustworthy or not but as a platform, egold should be safe.
For quick online payments egold is pretty safe because you are protected from chargebacks since egold does not allow it.
E-Gold is one of the the best online currencies. Western Union- I dont have to say anything for them, they are 100% trustworthy.
both of the companies are 100%, it only depends on the other trade party. if he want´s you to send e-gold first of course it´s possible he won´t send anything. the same vice-versa: if you send wu first and he will pay e-gold after pick up you have to trust him. both ways are final so no chance for chargeback like paypal. but the companies theirselfs are safe 100%
I use both and I will say both are safe as long as there use is right. I have my account with egold since 2005 and I never faced any problem. There may be some problems offcourse but if you clear in which context you are talking then it will be easy for others to give their opinion.
