Sorry that some people view this as "unprofessional". I suppose it would have been better to not say anything and make it seem like what Tradeepak was saying was actually true? He makes it seem like we just terminated him and said nothing. He was informed why he was terminated, and we explained to him everything. He says we did "not respond to his emails", however his emails were nothing but threats and the same questions he had asked that were already answered.

I don't know what kind of proof anybody would want us to post. Really, what can you post? A list of leads with IP addresses so you can see all the duplicates? Even that, which is the simplest form of proof we could post, breaches privacy for other users, and is not something we can do.

If I have discouraged anyone from doing business with us, I am sorry, but defending my company is important. When somebody makes a ridiculous claim that you "scammed" them out of $75,000, you don't sit back and let them feed others lies. The fact of the matter is, he had so many fraudulent users he lost us money, lost us campaigns, and ruined the relationship with some of our advertisers.

As for you FMS, I told you that your account would be paid after the investigation, and I said I DID NOT KNOW how long it would take. I said at the EARLIEST by Wednesday or Thursday, and as soon as Wednesday came the emails resumed about where your payment was. When all the leads have been reviewed you will be paid, and you will be sent a full report of the leads which were revoked.

I understand that you are indeed defending your company. But any big firm never gets themselves involved in such issues and only makes one post with proof. Some big firms do not even worry about what's being said. Have you ever seen Google coming into forums and posting justifications? So the best thing to do would be to make one last final post with a definite proof which would justify your innocence.

I'm going to disagree with you guys, Kelly and his team have handled this very professionally.

Good luck with this. Fraud is annoying as heck to deal with. And I don't understand where these people get off telling you how to run your business.

There is not kind of proof I could just come in here and post without breaching privacy, as I have said in the previous post. And we are not a huge company or a big firm, so that comparison really isn't valid. I only came here to post the facts about the situation, you are free to choose sides. I have said all that I can.

From my experience and I bet many others Revenue Universe is simply one of the best affiliate networks for incentive sites and people like you tend to get greedy and try to get as much as you can, without doing anything to prevent fraud, which I agree with Peter. People like you deepak closed other affiliate networks that allow incentive based sites because people are abusing the system and worst when you are as the owner of the site abusing and promoting fraud as in telling people to complete offers and cancel it right away or telling people what offers to do etc etc and the list can go on and on, so I think you deserved it. :)

I believe RevU is being generous by even considering paying you for leads that are mixed in with so much fraud. In addition to wasting time and resources sifting through the leads and not just giving you the boot.

You don't see the staff of Paypal going to PaypalSucks.com and posting on their forums defending their company.

In case you did not notice, DP is a webmaster forum.

The original poster has basically defamed RU here. Other webmasters reading the thread would have assumed RU's guilt and RU would have lost trust and potential affiliates as a result of of it. You may want to read the entire thread again to see evidence of this.

RU did the correct thing in showing the original poster for being the fraud he is. You Indian members who moan that it is hard to get accepted into various affiliate programs - well it is guys like Deepak who are one of the causes of this. I assume he is indian because of the name, please correct me if i'm wrong.

I went to RU's website and actually read their affiliate agreement - this guy is lucky to receive any money at all from what i've read there.

Anyways, there is nothing to be gained anymore in this thread. It should be locked.

I did not receive any money at all.

Btw, why is the reason that RevU should close my account exactly before payment date? Obviously they wanted maximum number of leads to come in before you close my account. Doesn't have a better explanation.

Oddly, I knew the answer to this as I had already read it at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=4076890&postcount=10
    To quote:
It appears that the advertiser who reported you, reported at that time period (probably after doing their End of Month figures and finding something amiss).

I aggree with that. I have to admit though. Revenue Universe has a lot of clauses about fraud. So if they wanted to screw over an affiliate, it would be very easy to do so.

Our site deals with incentive marketing, I do not know if you heard about or understand the type of fraud that occurs with it. Many publishers and advertisers have pulled out completely and will not work with incentive sites due to the possible fraud it might bring in (Hydra Media and Max Bounty are just two). The reason for the many clauses is because we have seen various types of fraud all the way from stolen credit cards to site owners signing up to their own sites to complete offers multiple times. We work hard to ensure that there is no fraud occuring between the advertiser and the affiliate and monitor accounts frequently for this issue, especially when it is the advertiser that notifies us of suspicious leads.
