Hi, I have discussed this thing before but this time I need some serious help. I want to sell my templates which can be seen at my website www.smartpixels.net but no one is showing any interest in my templates. People on this DP are saying that I have no iTrader Value thats why they can't trust me I have got 100+ posts but no iTrader because I have not sold or purchased anything so because of this iTrader thing I should not consider DP as a place where I can sell my templates? What should I do to get some confidence of people? and some iTrader too? I have given a lot of FREE links to my PR3 directory at linksbucket If they read the word "LinksBucket" somewhere then they will remember me that I have given many free links to people. How can I get more popular and a trustworthy person? Please help me. I can see people here on DP selling their designs and services easily but when it comes to me, no one replies What can I do?
That may be a problem but you have to take a start somewhere. Try forum posting jobs in the content creation section, that'll give you some itrader, or buy some stuff such as signature links, templates, links etc.
People need to know they can trust you before they buy from you because people have been scammed too many times before, maybe you should buy/sell some other things first to build up iTrader
Just buy a couple thing in the B/S/T section, you can find many things for $2-$5, spend about $30, and you'll have a nice amount of i-traders
Why not give them the template first, then they pay, then you get an iTrader. But make sure the person you give it to is trusted .
you may buy links in $1.00 bidding directories. if you buy from 10 guys who advertise on the forum you get iTrader(10) Thanks

This template is for sale at Normal Price: 75 USD Unique Price: 230 USD Format: Adobe Photoshop PSD" Well, you don't say if it is coded or not. How much are you even asking for this 'template'? Is it 75? what does "unique price" mean? Is that a price for a single copy where you wont sell to someone else? In any event, with no demo, no explanation of whether it is coded or not - you are way over priced. Especially for someone with no history of successful sales or satisfied customers. Why not put up some of your work at reasonable prices and see if you make a sale. To me, it is combination of your lack of itrader, high prices, scant information about the template, and no coded version to see.
He does say Format : Adobe Photoshop PSD. What else would it mean? It's a very common thing for templates to be sold either for a unique price, or seperately.
Your site PR 0 which means new site. you just own 16X post and no itrader also PR0. how could i believe you
To get iTrader, just purchase small things under $5. Make sure you can use it though, make it worth its money. Also read some tips on sales pages, it might not seem like much, but if you present your thread very neat, organized, images, colors, ect. people will be more interested. DP is the place to sell your stuff. Look for a demand and sell it. Right now the biggest demand I see is PHPLD, but you would have to sell coded, if you don't code, its worth it to get it done. Buyers see too much trouble in having to go find one and pay him. If you don't make any profit off the coding, its not a big deal, because more people will show interest and a coded design, than just a design. PS xhtml/CSS coding has to be the simplest thing to learn, I taught myself in a few days by looking at free templates sources.
I have offered my services for postings on forums at a very reasonable prices.. Thread and have got some work from it. I think I should ask those clients to give me some iTrader value. I have sold out my 2 templates on some other forums where I had no iTrader, and those client never asked about iTrader. Thank you very much for sharing this link. I will definitely join that forum also, For the pricing. I think it is reasonable (may be a little high) but those designs are unique and not copied from somewhere and I think the unique ideas and designs worth good money. May be if I provide some free templates then people will start trusting me.
I think the same think will happen to me. I did sell hosting but i didn't get any Itrader points for the people i sold it to
