In fact, I have recently purchased an advertising campaign on the offical Simple Machines Forum Community. The purpose of the email address is (1.) to defeat automated directory submission programs and (2.) to allow one to modify, change, or remove the original submitted link without the administrator's personal intervention. I personally validate all links. I have made available web statistics in each directory for all to inspect. There is an optional link exchange offered in each directory. An Alexa Button is provided in the "Details" view of each listing to help Alexa Ranking. All submissions are inspected on a regular basis for error codes 403/404. All submissions are permanent.
