Hi there. I'm just wondering if anyone has some opinions as to how www.masternumerology.com got in the top 10 on live.com for the keyword 'numerology'. It appears to have 29 recognised backlinks from yahoo, none from google and a PR of 0. Thanks for anything you can dig up.
Actually, masternumerology.com is on place 47 ... so not in the top 10. All I can think of, is: - good SEO (description & keywords META included) - very related title (3 times numerology in it ...) - good domain name ending in numerology.com Also, the content has several occurrences of 'numerology', which makes it very likely to rank higher for the numerology keyword.
I don't see it in top 10 either (searching from Greece) But indeed the field is not very competitive ... yet
probably a new site and live.com can easily drop its ranking in a few month. the no page SEO is valued at first, but at the end, we still should look at the links back to the site
Maybe it's a marketing scheme. They can't get new users, so they say maybe if we show new websites impatient webmasters will think our search engines are better because they showed the page first and will come back to us. [/conspiracy theory] My site's top 5 on MSN, PR0, <50 real links. Microsoft's weird that way.
