In Tunisia for example women are not allowed to wear the hijab at school or in the streets, you can get arrested if you do. I don't get it , surely it's a msulim country so what's next? people will be forced to eat pork or drink alcohol?
If some countries can force women to wear hijab, why cant Tunisia have rules against them? Infact Hijab is prohibited in Azerbaijan and Turkey too.. And are you saying Muslims do not drink Alcohol??
So like forcing to wear hijab is wrong, in your opinion, similarly forcing not to wear Hijab is wrong as well...Am i right Webmaster?
Ofcourse, any rule against harmless personal will is wrong.. Wearing or not wearing hijab is a woman's concern and her religious beliefs. no-one should force wearing or prohibiting it.
yes some countries force them to wear it becaus ethey are muslim countries, but Tunisia is a muslim country so it doesn't make sense they prohibit it.
As I said, apart from Tunisia, Azerbaijan and Turkey also prohibit hijab in Govt. buildings.. Thats their rule...
yes it's true tunisia isn't a muslim country they are a muslim just by name in islam the women are free to wear or not wear the hijab everyone is responsable of his actions sorry 4 my bad english
Also in Tunisia Talaq: extra-judicial divorce is also prohibited and marriage of a man younger than 20 or a woman under 17 is not allowed. Tunisia had liberal laws due to pro-Western reformer Habib Bourguiba. Apparently polygamy is also prohibited by law in some Muslim countries like Bosnia, Syria, and Lebanon. In Morocco, it has been made very difficult and usually requires the official agreement of the first wife. I agree with you that. You have my respect.
Why it doesn’t make sense? Yes Tunisia is a Muslim country and no Hijjab (headscarf) has no foundation in Islam in its origin. Hijjab came only from the tradition; I can’t even find one authentic source that states that Mohammad has asked women to cover their hair.
we have a source in Quran {يَا أَيّÙهَا النَّبÙيّ٠قÙÙ„ لّÙأَزْوَاجÙÙƒÙŽ وَبَنَاتÙÙƒÙŽ ÙˆÙŽÙ†Ùسَاء الْمÙؤْمÙÙ†Ùينَ ÙŠÙدْنÙينَ عَلَيْهÙنَّ Ù…ÙÙ† جَلَابÙيبÙÙ‡Ùنَّ} [الأØزاب: 59] sorat AlAHZAB: 59
The sura you presented talks about "jilbab" an over-garment to be drawn close around the body or over it. It could mean also a garment cast over the women's back top down. It may also be understood as to throw a dress long to cover the legs below the keens (like: Don’t wear short dress). Yes it may also mean to cover the head including the eyes and everything else, but there is no proof that one interpretation is more valid then others. Just because the majority decided that the verse implies that the women must cover everything, we must take that as true. Again if Allah wanted to say cover the head or face why didn’t he just say it, how is that difficult for Allah the omniscient? Why use words that aren’t precise and leave them open to diverse interpretations? 3 translations for you: In addition to that if the Hijjab was truly compulsory on all women in islam, why was Umar then excluding slave women from wearing that dress code? He even used to beat slave women who wore such dress style! If we are of course to believe the biographies as authentic! You can write in French if you wish. I’ll reply in English for the benefit of all.
