Question about placing new ads on site

    I have a quick question for you guys. On our site, we currently only have adsense located on our forums. I'm looking at adding them on the main page between a couple of news articles, and POSSIBLY at the bottom of news (but not reviews/previews).

    My question is, if we had a second adsense account under a different name/address, could that be used on the main page and be okay? Or do we have to use the same account throughout the site? (I only ask because it's much easier to just split things like that in half with how the site works, rather than have one person get everything.)

    yes you can use more than one adsense account on same site.

    you can also consider using channels to split earnings.

    Use channels to track the earnings. Google TOS is not to use Two adsense accounts.

    It will break the TOS, as in having more than 3 ads in one page. It doesn't matter if it's 2 different accounts. Once it gets reported by someone, both of your Adsense accounts will be banned.

    i think if there are more than one person running the site, they should divide the revenue amongst them equally rather than using filters or different ad accounts or u can use one adsense account and one adbrite account

    second adsense account is against the tos.

    you are not allowed to do that.
    you can use channels to track your earning on different pages

    If by "we" you mean there's more than one person; and that you intend to use only one account on an individual page for all Google ad types, this is perfectly acceptable.
