Do you read my posts? If you did, you would realize my explanation for adding that particular text. I have no issue in removing it, and it was certainly not intended to encourage clicks despite what you may think. On the other hand, I would personally urge you to learn your etiquettes. Do I honestly feel the need to convince you? No; and by no means do I have to. This is a matter between me and Google, with them having final say. Though I don't drop to others' mentality, your response truly aggravated me. In essence, then, I can say that I don't give a sh*t about your opinion if you can't communicate professionally. Watch what you say, and read the posts before commenting. If you cannot do that, simply move on to the next thread. Good luck in your endeavors; stay out of mine.

 

I have fixed the matter, sent a PM to Jack, and would request for this thread (blown way out of proportion) to preferably be closed. It was an ambiguous issue, which is evident given the inconsistency of responses. Thanks for those who were merely looking out, and I’m truly saddened by the overwhelming negativity conveyed by others.

Moreover, I also encouraged him to reciprocate the negative reputation points if he deems so appropriate. You appear to have a personal grudge against me Digital_Lifez, and this is explainable if I am accurate in my assumption of your identity. You may contact Adsense at will, as I have (1) been unaware that this was an issue; (2) had my website reviewed previously by their enforcement team (Sandor); and (3) rectified the problem as soon as concerns were raised.

The OP is changing it now anyway so not much point in debating it, but I would say putting anything like "they help keep us free" is encouraging people to click them. I spend over $1000 a week on adwords. If I seen my adverts appearing on a site with that written on it I would certainly be complaining to adwords and asking what they are going to do about it.

Since removing the text, my CTR has not decreased - goes to show how much the visitors truly cared about something blown way out of proportion. You honestly have too much time on your hands to be trivially pursuing the matter, even after it has been corrected. It's a matter between Google and myself now, so why do you still care? Just some advice - make some friends, perhaps get a girlfriend, or just go outside once in a while. Honestly, I can't help but wonder if you even have a website?

You dont make an advertiser money by sending them traffic who only clicked the links because "they pay your bills" as you put it.

 

As I articulated earlier, my CTR has not declined (rather increased) since removing the text, so this clearly was not a factor in visitors' interest of the advertiser's website(s). Even so, I corrected the problem, apologized, and am still being bashed. That raises the question on my end, as to whether others simply have too much time on their hands. The issue was brought to light, I'm certain Google is aware, and I just can't comprehend how this matter is a concern to any of you thereafter. Stop wasting your time!
