Recently, I want to try out new CPM ads for my site and decide to move google text ads to the bottom of the site or footer. Guess what, somehow google spider manage to crawl the site and found out. Today, I got 15 clicks so far and 22 cents earning. That is less than 2 cents per click which never happen to me before. Adsense is evil and wants to drive out all their competitive company..xD Look like I have to move it back to the header or leave it for another day and see how thing goes..>_>
Argo, its prolly not smartpriced. Adsense serves ads based on code shown in your HTML. If you have 1 ad in header, 1 in sidebar and 1 in footer. The header ads will get the highest eCPM since those ads appear first in the HTML code. Adsense starts filling ads from top to bottom based on higher to lower bids. If advertisers is bidding $0.30 cents from 1-3 position, he will get the spot for header and so on. Its obvious that you are getting the lowest cpc ads in footer since the footer ads will get filled last. Now you know what to do to fix it. Good luck
and you moved your text ad in the footer? Why? Place it inside a post or somewhere on Top. Footer anyways is a worst location to put ads. People dont bother to even scroll down to the bottom of the page.
