I think SitePoint hides the links from search engines. I haven't been there recently, though.

 

yeah, you are rigth.

sitepont does not show the signature links to search engine bots

Use Mozilla plugin and its easy to check for nofollow with it.

 

Nice list, definitely will check out these forums.

 

Being that most forums that allow sigs are no follow, it's better to just search for "forum YourTopic" in google. and check a few sigs on each site that comes up.

http://www.simplemachines.org/community/ shows as pr7 on my toolbar (but not quite as well cached in Google)

I would think many of the "script" support forums would be worth checking, even if you do not use that script, you could still post a question if you are creative

 

All signatures are viewable by SE spiders.

But sometimes a google search will return to only a small-sized forum.

Try checking @ big-boards.com ; they are listing a lot of forums sorted by size and categories.

 

Does not google consider this as cloaking ? What are your opinions.
