They should start with old soviet style 10 years plan because a president can be in the office for max 8 years . He can never become responsible for his plan failure since he is already out of office and can blame it on the next guy.
Yeah, that time line makes me laugh. It has been nearly four years since Bush said mission accomplished, and the mission IS accomplished. The goal was never to free Iraq from the Evil Saddam(who we put in power in the 1950s to fight the communist threat there), no the REAL goal was to balkanize Iraq just like they did the Balkans. Iraq is a cesspool of bloodshed and misery, but it is great for the PMCs and Oil Companies, since they are making record profits. It sure sucks for the Iraqis and American soldiers. Looking at the time line AGS showcases reminds me of when you loan someone money, and then you ask for it back, and they keep telling you they will pay you back next week.......of course next week turns into a month, then six months, and eventually a year......it becomes obvious that they're never gonna pay you back. That perfect describes the situation in Iraq.
