How many of you are changing your fees after the PR update?

After a PR update so many directories seem to either change from free to paid, or raise their rates for paid links.

Just wondering who's planning on fee changes after the PR export ~ or, will your payment options stay the same?

For what it's worth, a week ago I implemented a paid option on my directory. (It's been free up til this point.) My directory is PR5 and I think it will stay that way, though many categories will gain PR this time around.

(I should add I didn't make the change because of PR considerations, I just think at this point in my directory's life - 14 months old - it was appropriate to add a paid option.)

    cheers ~
    Denise

I won't be increasing prices this time. I want to add more value first.

Only recently put the prices up. The only way I would put the prices up now would be if I got a huge PR jump and mass submissions.

From my current PR0 to whatever they may gain, i intend to raise my prices a little, really depends what happens though.

Considering i only charge 75cents for a Regular Listing currently, its clear i wont be getting greedy.

I recently installed deeplinks mod for my directory, so I have raised the prices a bit. I think I will keep it that way even after this update.

In theory your PR could rise, without it being shown in the toolbar, its just that proving that rise is impossible. :)

As i'm PR0 bidding directory now, if i get PR5 home page, it will be $15 or $20 fee. if i get PR6 it will be more like $25-$35

I dont base my prices on PR. I base them on quality and results. As PR rises it will get me more submissions, which also means more traffic. As SERPs are improving all the time too, i think a price rise will be more than just due to a PR change.

PR brings in more submitters. Higher PR will mean more traffic. Higher traffic and PR and improving SE rankings means a submission is worth a lot more than $5.

It all depends on the increase. I plan on keeping it the same for my PR4 directory, but if it jumps significantly, then I might consider a small increase!
