We are a growing company and are now looking for SEO professionals to join our team. If you have a background in search engine optimization and search engine marketing please follow this link to our Jobs section of our website. Full time positions require that you work in our office in Lehi Utah. We will also consider outsourcing work to qualified applicants.
Never understood why search companies require that people have a Bachelors degree. The vast majority of the best search professionals I've worked with over the years don't have one. Some of them didn't even make it out of high school. Just a suggestion, don't exclude folks simply based on the lack of degree. Had I done that over the past few years I would have missed the opportunity to work with some of the best search marketers I've ever met. Good luck!
Yea - I would love to apply as well, I mean you know me from searchen I have all the following except the one in bold * Bachelors degree * At least 3 years search engine optimization experience * Understanding of search engine ranking algorithms * Proven results with SEO * Strong communication skills – written and verbal * Advanced HTML/CSS * Project management experience Is just silly - I have ton of seo experience , but no degree If you reconsider that option, I would love to apply Oh an btw http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=site:www.seo.com&btnG=Search seo.com NOT indexed........seems you really need me Your search - site:seo.com - did not match any documents. Your search - site:www.seo.com - did not match any documents. Oh and <script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript"> </script> <script type="text/javascript"> _uacct = "UA-32143-2"; urchinTracker(); </script> </head> How come you go that in the head? Instructions for adding tracking
I wasn't looking to apply, just trying to share my past experiences I know a lot of job postings are "templated" and the degree thing is there for all positions. Good luck, I'm sure there will be a lot of interest!
See my other post about the degree and send us your resume. You need to learn a little about our background and recent acquisition of the domain SEO.com. We recently were able to purchase this domain and are now working on getting it indexed. It used to be a MFA site that we believe was under some type of penalty in Google. We have submitted a reinclusion request to them. Even with it not indexed we have been getting tons of traffic from people just typing SEO.com into the address bar. About the tracking.. When Google fist started analytics, it did say to place the code at the top. Again don't worry about the degree. Experience will outweigh the degree. I just have an associates degree. BTW we don't really need anybody.
Yea - I know all about this, and so does Matt, Oh .....yea they prefer right before the </body> now Oh ok - thats cool at least Oh ...then no sense in wasting my time adding my resume then huh......
Yeah they do mention to put it down there before the closing body tag. I think it was changed to that to accommodate all the websites that have a single footer file with the footer code in it. But in the header or footer it still works. Only send a resume if you want to climb aboard the SEO.com train. If you do get considered are you willing to relocate or are you looking at possibly outsourcing? We would prefer to hire full time help to work here in our office.
Oh cool - thats good to know, I am willing to re-locate , now as for the resume, I will get something to you Thanks for all the replys
I also need to mention that when you send a resume, it isn't going to me. It is going to our CEO, Dave Bascom.
