Never understood why search companies require that people have a Bachelors degree. The vast majority of the best search professionals I've worked with over the years don't have one. Some of them didn't even make it out of high school.

Just a suggestion, don't exclude folks simply based on the lack of degree. Had I done that over the past few years I would have missed the opportunity to work with some of the best search marketers I've ever met.

    Good luck!

Wasn't that domain (seo.com) recently purchased for $5 million by the ex-owner of buydomains.com?

I wasn't looking to apply, just trying to share my past experiences:D I know a lot of job postings are "templated" and the degree thing is there for all positions.

Good luck, I'm sure there will be a lot of interest!

See my other post about the degree and send us your resume. You need to learn a little about our background and recent acquisition of the domain SEO.com. We recently were able to purchase this domain and are now working on getting it indexed. It used to be a MFA site that we believe was under some type of penalty in Google. We have submitted a reinclusion request to them. Even with it not indexed we have been getting tons of traffic from people just typing SEO.com into the address bar.

About the tracking.. When Google fist started analytics, it did say to place the code at the top.

Again don't worry about the degree. Experience will outweigh the degree. I just have an associates degree.

BTW we don't really need anybody. :)

Yeah they do mention to put it down there before the closing body tag. I think it was changed to that to accommodate all the websites that have a single footer file with the footer code in it. But in the header or footer it still works.

Only send a resume if you want to climb aboard the SEO.com train. If you do get considered are you willing to relocate or are you looking at possibly outsourcing? We would prefer to hire full time help to work here in our office.

I also need to mention that when you send a resume, it isn't going to me. It is going to our CEO, Dave Bascom.
