Link Monitoring Software ??

Hi

Does anyone know of any software that will monitor links on other websites, for instance if you exchnage link with another site the program would have to periodically go and check that the link is still active ?

LinksManager does this, although Link Exchanges aren't the way to go. It's better to have one-way links.

 

i got this software installed on my pc somewhere and because i haven't used it I cannot find it.

Reason was because all the ones I did come across were pretty useless.

If you signup for the advanced membership on my site, you'll be able to monitor all backlinks to your site. You will need to have a host with cPanel or other interface which will allow you to enable remote access to your mysql database. So check with your host, or feel free to sign up for cPanel hosting at a myriad of webhosts offering free or nearly free cPanel hosting. Oh, and after you use the backlink checker, you will be able to hide or delete all links which no longer link back to your site.

Yes. You can try both Receive Links and Link Vault. They do a very good job on this. Receive Links tends to be better at the checking.
