Well nothing new several people have the same problem.
I think if you remove all paypal logos and paypal references you don't have a problem.

    Agree with ! Ask !
I don't use any logo at all. So no problem-so far. Hopefully it will remain the same forever:p

another thing you can do is remove the listed site link on the paypal e-mail a little .tpl modification, and also change the category name to something else less explicit.

And remember PAYPAL SUCKS BIG TIME!

Im just going to delete the category and refund the money so I wont have this issue.

But the way I read it is if you process the money with paypal then its unauthorized. So you can remove the logo and that wont change anything.

Hard question to answer since I had a gambling category in every directory I have had. Guess whenever they do a reveiw on sites like they did mine they will notice it.

I think we heard this before. A guy called casinobonus guy had this done when a casino site bidded on bidding directory.

I dont allow casino sites on my directory. it seems a lot of people do, often the ones are the QBC with dropped PR6 domains and they accept any crap. At least aaron had a designated area for it.

Does removing link in paypal mail have any problem while confirming payment for a listing ? ( Specially during multiple listings per day ? )

I have had this aswel, my paypal account is well over 600+ ratings.

I've removed all gambling/bingo and other betting links, did refunds and so on. Notifications to the submitters. Then used the resolve center at paypal to explain what I did and after a week or so it was released to full again.

Read this info from paypal: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/use/index_frame-outside&ed=gambling

This also includes accepting money from gambling parties for a paid submission at a directory.

    Good luck.

I had this happen three months ago. Apparently it happens when a competitor turns you in.

Removing the logo is NOT enough. But if you actually read their TOS, there isn't anything that says a "link" is illegal.

Agreed ... Dont show the banners or affiliation with them

As for paypal sucking i disagree..

I contacted them not long ago about adding a section with business transactions,..
funds entering and leaving as well as daily amounts and a few other things and
2-3 months later they built the Business tools.
( i doubt they did it for me but seen i was correct and implemented a plan)

When Yahoo changed thier Spam filters ...

Paypal contacted myself Via phone and let me know what was going on
and suggested that the emails be in changed to reflect yahoos change
if not it would wind up in the bulk trash mail...

So i see them as getting better and just covering thier butts..

    thx

Oh it sucks to have your money frozen, all right. Guilty until proven innocent, with your funds gone. That sure does suck when it happens to you.
