The ridiculous side being, that does he really think he can guess the password? If I managed to guess a password, I think I'd be buying a lottery ticket that day. I figure he'll get to me soon though. Sad that someone has this much time on their hands.

I've had two emails from this site. Someone is trying to log into my account and DP have sent me their IP.

Is it a problem with this site or is there a person or machine trying to get into my account here? What can I do with their IP number to track them? I put it into google and it returned someone else having the same problem with the IP.

Why would someone want to get into my account here? Could someone suggest a reason for this?

Is is just a very sad person or a devious scoundrel up to no good? Is it an ex or a faceless executive? Indeed, is it a person?

Do let me have your thoughts about this and what I can do with the IP number.

My account also got blocked for a few minutes.. Same guy: 74.53.243.34 (probably a hacked Planet server used as a proxy)
It seems that they've been randomly trying passwords for various users, which makes me wonder how many accounts they actually did get access to...

Anyway, maybe it's an idea to add an auto-ban script to the forums? (IP-Ban if someone using the same IP address tries and repeatedly fails to login to more than one account.)

Seems like they are using an automated script to try and bruteforce accounts. If you notice that most people who had it happen begin with either A or B sounds like they are going through the members list one by one.
