Bug in the script. Make up something like pimpfightas2h3f and it shows the .org is taken. I did this with 10 different names and comes up with same result.

Actually .org whois server is always busy and sends error when you request a bit of times, the msg could be "the whois server is busy" but then is bad for the interface. I can for example remove the .org extension and add .ws, .biz... or whatever... :D

if you send so much whois requests is there not the problem that you get blocked by all theses whois servers after some time? (maybe is this already the problem for the busy .org whois)

Actually, the only whois .ORG server is PIR.ORG this server is always busy! but it's for everybody! for example, I've searched in sedo for domains and says the .org whois server is busy too... so admins from PIR.ORG should change the whois configuration to a better one like the others whois servers.

I use pir.org with my own whois script too and don't have problems.

I think the problem is that the ajax request need some more time, can you fix that? and is it possible to expand the tld list?

The problem is not in my script, trust me, just go search .org domains in www.sedo.com then you will see how whois server for .org is busy too

Of course, I expanded the TLD list but the interface was worse with too many results, I can add any extension with public whois server (sadly .ES is not public)

BTW what is your ajax site? :D

I don't have an ajax site, but check this whois script:
    http://www.finalwebsites.com/demos/php_whois_script.php

I ask that because I like the concept very much and I'm also interested to buy that site, but I want a finished product, with the last 5 sites I bought I needed to fix most of the scripts and I don't like to do that anymore :)
