Why Hire A Designer?

Here is why you should hire a designer. :D

When you hire a web designer to do your job for you, you are doing more than just handing over the "dirty job" to someone else. In fact, by paying a little money, you can let the designer worry about the little annoyances that always evade the main picture and only come haunting when you're halfway through the job. That way, you will be more focused and have more time to spend on your actual website strategy.

Also, if the designers you hire are professionals... they are good at what they do. By outsourcing your web design jobs to them, you won't have to worry when problems surface because you can always get them to fix it for you. Again, they will be able to pin point the problem and fix it faster than you will be able to.

Also, the work you pay for will turn out more professional than what you can achieve because the designers have been doing it longer than you have. After all, they do it for a living so they have to be good! :D

My opinion on why we should hire designers more often. :)

    With Integrity,

It is trade off between time and money, if you have enough time in hand you do it yourself, else hire a web designer.

This is inclusive of every field. You should hire professionals to do whatever work you aren't professional at. It saves you time and produces far better results. You need to have a cashflow to be able to do this. That's why at the start of a business/being self-employed, you're usually stuck doing everything!

Is that the same with your medical treatment?

Design and development arent not overly complex but both take a lot of time and practice to get good at it and then even more time to become an expert and a lot of time must also be dedicated to keep up with modern methodologies and practices.

In this respect it is no different from being a doctor, lawyer or many other professional jobs.

If you have nothing better to do with your time for your business than to spend hours a day over years to do this then your business has to be questionable

My dad was one of those guys who could always be counted on to say "Who needs to pay a plumber? I can fix it... again." :D

I've respected my dad for a long time for his steadfast commitment to frugality and for being a model of self-reliance - however, I've grown to understand that there is a time for 'doing-it-yourself' and a then there is a time for letting someone else with more time or skill handle the job.

It certainly depends on a few factors..

    - Money available to hire designer?
    - What type do you want (blog for instance, very simple, do it yurself)
    - Are you experienced in coding, html, php, etc etc..

    Blog? Easy? :D

They might be easy to design. But the coding is where it gets tough. :D

I think if we do all the stuff such as plumbing, cleaning, ironing etc.... then there we will wont gett free time for doing more important work and just think about those who get their daily food by providing these services to you, same as for designer, if you can design well then it's OK otherwise " LIVE AND LET LIVE " by helping other who are master in their work.
    [Just an opinion]

I agree. Let the professionals do the job. You wouldn't hire your 13 year old family member to build your house. Why hire them to build one of the most important tools in any business.

Sorry, but building a website is not really the same thing as performing surgery or even building a house. If my grandma wanted to put in the time, I am pretty sure she could figure it out.

Well it is easy to design a site on your own but it takes time to do it, so if you have enough time you can do it on your own.

If you can do it by your own then no need to hire but if you don't have knowledge on this field then better to hire someone to do it for you.
