    I've seen a change in my backlinks number so far but the page rank remain the same. Maybe i will see the change tomorrow from now.

    All the more reason PR assigned to a page behind a login makes no sense... I see it as a bug.

    Anyway, there is no real advantage either to having a PR6 Profile page, where as I can see it..

    I would agree that SitePoint's members profile PageRank will give you no value at all in terms of passing PR juice.

    Just change the title and make it a bit catchy and see this is what you get,,,,
    Members and guests pouring into new PR (about) threads!!! usually false updates or minors...
