Do not have time to promote. Must sell. Spent 75 dollars on cotent and 10 on domain name.

Traffic/Revenue?

 

Website is 100% new. The domain name it's self has a good archive score. It will get traffic considering how much camping is searched for. I was going to do some link building for it, but I have one too many projects going on.

 

Copyscape says the content is not unique

using firfox's find tool you can quickly see that they are similar, but are not copies of each other. IMO copyscape is not very good at detecting plagiarism.

it also only shows that "Technorati Tags: Camping Gear, Camping Gear" is copied....

ill go $25 for it.

 

hamidap are you serious? Check the page on copyscape - it has FOUR words matching, and they are technorati tags.

based on Alexa ratings i would say it's the other way around...

I am the owner of the other site in question (thecampingsite.info). The seller on this thread contacted me with concern about my site having duplicate content with his.

I am looking into the matter. The content on my sites isn't created by me but by freelance writers I hire to create content for most of my sites. I check from time to time on what freelancers create for me but I didn't for the last 5 pages created for this particular site. It was work from a freelancer I hadn't used previously. I have contacted him and am waiting for his reply.

If I find him to have plagiarised content I will report him on DP. In the meantime I am taking the content in question on my site offline.

 

nameonthecake, I checked your full site and the 5 pages the freelancer created for me a week or two ago are exact copies of yours.

Might as well buy your site and try to get my money back from the freelancer. As a note, I didn't find him on DP but on my local Craigslist. I know where he lives.

 

I've notified the DP mods of this situation since it seems nameonthecake was banned due to this issue. Imagine how bad I feel? Learn a lesson here. Check the quality of any outsourced article writing you get before you publish it. Even if you have a lot (like I do) take the time.

Scary that all it takes to get banned from DP is post a website for sale, some retard copies your content without you knowing, and you get banned no questions asked?
