ok my website has been hack by what looks like a team of hackers two times now just the index page of my site and the second time a php scipt index.php but all up to date this is the hackers webstie http://mirrortr.org/ my site not on the top new hack site any more i now the website ip and it not in the EU or uk or USA they need to be stop !!!!# ps my host jsut say to change my password which was ok the first time but not the second what can i do about the hacker like report them ect thank you DP members for your help
Well, you really can't do much about hackers except make sure that your software is up to date. E.G. If you have a forum, make sure that it's the latest version (SMF 1.1.3 instead of SMF BETA 2) Make sure that you change all your password (including that of your e-mail address).
yes any think like fourms ect are update to date is my index pages that get hack eg like www.mysitename.com has a index.php but some how a index.html is being uploaded but not via ftp and there is now other way to upload to the site at all
Infact there are other ways .. You can upload files to your site including root using file manager in hosting control panel ..
i don't have a control panel like i can just sort out my ftp password and emails but the passwords do not show in there at all and no password as been change on my hosting account
