Equal to or Better than DMOZ ??

OK, today I have learned that it is mission impossible to get my site on DMOZ. I have been trying for months and months and months. SO I have a new idea.(BRIGHT LIGHT BULB above my head) I will try to submit to other DMOZ-like directories on the web. SO, can someone please provide a list of the best Internet directories? I would be really cool if we could get 10 or so on here. I have a list of about 1000 free really small directories that i got from addurl.nu, but I and many others are really looking for the cream of the crop; the ones with the girth of DMOZ, but are easier to get into.

and www.10000directory.com - where you find a list of 10000 directories.

 

There is only one list thats current and reliable and that you can find at Info.Vilesilencer . It gets updated regularly and there is always new directories that will keep you going.

Absolutely the only directories list having directories worth submitting.

 

Depends on what you are looking for. If its PR you are after you could do a lot worse but if its back links start with the free directory lists.

 

Why? One would have to go to the bank manager cap in hand before submitting ones site to the directories on that list. What do you get that you cant get for time it takes to submit your site to the free lists?

 

There are too few niche directories on that list.
