I disagree. I also note the poster didn't take exception with such.

I'm not arguing the semantics of his post. I'll leave that to you. This is what happens when someone "assumes" they know more about a discussion than they do. I took "war on terror" in quotes to be "questionable" because the poster has eluded in the past that he believes 9/11 was an inside job and not entirely sure al qaida is an enemy. I'm presuming you were not familiar with "that" history before your post?

I never said you were arguing anything. Prepared for what? Long winded analysis on semantics and lack of history in conversations here? OK.

Thank you for sharing what you are and are not aware of.

Incorrect, again. He eluded to this quite well. I had no trouble understanding it. Apparently you did.

Incorrect again. An analysis of what he said isn't necessary. I do find your long winded approach to cover it up fascinating though!

Very perceptive! The only thing missing is whether I did, or did not, ask for what rights he "feels" are being eroded. I'd sure like to see them. I wonder why you didn't analyze that?

First demonstrate that US citizens have lost such a right.

First demonstrate this right has been lost.

Source for such? Are you talking about rights of terrorists? Is that what you are concerned with?

If you are a terrorist or communicating with such. I'd welcome examples of this for American citizens who were not involved in terrorism. Can I presume you'll be providing such?

Just for clarities sake, here is what I said on 9/11:

"It is my opinion that at the very least, there was some manipulation at the highest levels of our nation’s government that allowed the tragic events of September 11th to occur."

As far as Al Qaida, I have never stated I do not consider them an enemy of this nation, because I am entirely sure that they are.

Thank you! I was hoping not to have to go back and find that post. So you are not convinced it was al qaida alone? "At the very least," you believe your government was involved?

Might I also point out, yet again, that there is no actual question in your statement? Just an allegation. Like I originally said, too many here hide behind the premise of asking questions of their government, when in fact, they rarely every have a question at all. Just allegations. This must be the new definition of "patriotism."

That's the impression I've had. So, let's clear it up then...

Do you believe al qaida is an enemy of this nation?

Yes, I do. I have never said otherwise.

Good, hopefully in the future you won't make anymore statements claiming I am "not entirely sure al qaida is an enemy". :)

The question is not if al qaida is the enemy of this nation or not since it is obvious that they are. The more important question is, who is a more dangerous enemy of this nation, the principles that it was built on and the civil rights of it's citizens, al qaida or this administration? ;)
