Firefox by a long shot. Works on almost all platforms. In my case, I use it on Windows and Linux everyday. But for web development I use IE, Safari Windows and Firefox to check the code.
Fire Fox is the best option available and now the newer version has got some important features as well like having ability to restore all tabs you were working on
I am still using IE and also fire fox from time to time. I tried using other browsers before but I really got used to IE
For me, I use Opera, Firefox and IE.... The reason why I use three is because certain websites require you to use different browsers. The best I would choose is Firefox all browsers have negatives and positives....
I use firefox and think it is the best for general use. My favourite is actually Opera, although I don't use it as much because I find too many sites don't work properly with it.
I've never even heard of Maxthon. I use Firefox. Safari (for Windows) is pretty cool but a bit of a memory hog... it's a work in progress.
I feel i may have answered this question a few times already.. FireFox IMO is the best browser because of all the twinkly bits..
Firefox of course latest ie is meant to have lots of improvements but if using ie i recommend free program ccleaner select options on it and running it after each session of ie or just get ff less hassle
filehippo website for crap cleaner (ccleaner) removes basic nasties picked up while visiting certain !ahem! websites !ahem! you may notice things running smooth + faster after using it.. good luck
I use Opera (with the Web Developers console) and occasionally Firefox and IE for testing purposes. I find if I spend the time getting something right in Opera, 99% of the time it will work in other browsers too. To whoever it was before that said DP didn't work in Opera - I have no problems.
