Expedia vs Travelocity - Which is better?

I have a North American travel site and I am looking at joining an aff program to promote hotels and perhaps packages. On top of basic search widgets I hope to be able to customize deep links to certain hotel pages that the site reviews.

Do either Expedia or Travelocity offer this and what's your opinion on each?

 

i like expedia better, and I have no reason as to why.

 

Has anybody here ran both that can add to Cylon's response. Also I really need to be able to link to city searches or linking direct by property?

It's hard to choose - but wouldn't it be better if you can be affiliated to both?

 

I think expedia put sooo much effort into their engine, conversion optimization and branding that I will likely try them first. However it seems to me that they are a technology company that sells travel as opposed to a travel company that uses technology.
