Creating a website

Just curious. Do you put together your own websites or are
you contracting out through Elance or something?

Most people make their own, but unsure really what you are getting at with this post.

Making their own sites, using tempelates or looking for services in services forum. Other options possible too.

 

I'd think mostly people would make their own websites, others probably customize other templates to give them their own look.

As far as what I'm getting at. Well, I'm looking at putting
together a site (to utilize adsense) and although I don't
have a problem spending a little dough, the sites I've seen
that are doing rather well (or so they say) are real simple
content rich sites that don't seem too complicated
to put together.

Even a bottom of the barrel website designer on Elance
wants at least $250 to create a site. I'd rather use that for
adwords or something.

 

Download Wordpress(free), get a nice theme(free) and you will have a beautiful professional looking website in half an hour.

And for everything else there's MasterCard.. or at least the $250 you saved not going to Elance..

 

wellif you've got $250 to spare you might want to chesk out the sites for sale section.
Or if you want to save some money grab a free template from oswd and write the content yourself.

it depends on the person and his CREDIT BALANCE.
for a new bie,he will develop a site on his own.if has money,he will make others build one for him.a richer person will buy a successfully running website and run it (as google does).
