Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

I have this site Cat Clash, which has been a PR 4 for ages, and those gimmicky prediction things say it will remain a PR 4, but it says zero at the moment on my toolbar, and when you check multiple data centers there are lots of zeros and only a few 4s, so I'm a bit worried.

 

You make today to use ITW and ... nothing to see !

I hope that this fever end of this month or if we get lucky in the middle of this month

WAS a PR0 NOW a PR4

 

Well, there have been updates since thursday going on

That site used to be 4 and went from 4 to 1 on couple of datacenters in the end of the last week... Now it seems like all datacenters are changing their PR value to 1.

 

Do you guys all see the PR4 on my site?

I was the same way ...
as soon as someone yelled im seeing changes id run and go threw my 50+ sites
checking and this has become a waste off time for me.

When it updates it updates and im sure ill see the results come in the way of
submissions as the PR chasers will surly follow

How many different ways do you need to read about pr and back link updates ?

It's Very obvious that google had done a bl update, and we're starting to see pr changes.. Is it New science ?

Whatever is going on, it's not just one change (change in PR) but the supplemental tag has been dropped, which is really the bigger issue right now. Time will show whether this is a good or bad change for sure, but what is for certain it makes any PR update (whether it is happening or not, or just new data centres have been added to the Google network) insignificant.

Focus on content and good (nor quantity) backlinks; this will bring traffic and good rankings.

 

I haven't see yet one bit of evidence from my sites that pr is updating.

Doug I have 11 sites and not one has moved either. Could Google be doing this by IP address?

 

my deviant art page moved from PR3 to PR4... and that is my only cell on the internet about which i am not bothered with the PR... grrr

 

Have you checked your backlinks in google using "link:"?
