Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

I don't wanna disclose before PR update to prevent being called as a QBC member I acquired a PR7 domain a while ago and turned it into a directory. However, unlike others, I have promoted it and built tons of backlinks for it by hoping to keep the PR after the upcoming PR update. I haven't made a penny from the site yet as I didn't accept anyone's offers for link sales because I don't wanna sell anything before I make sure it's PR7 after the update also. If it remains PR7, I am gonna promote it even better and earn the internet one more strong PR7 directory hopefully

 

looks like the google backlinks have updated to the toolbar, at least that is what I am seeing on this end.

and shows PR7 in all dcs, it will probably keep its PR

 

All DCs show PR7 with or without www. Only one DC shows off - 64.233.179.93

A week back i left for vacation to a hill station expecting to see an update on return but seems like still its all rumors... nothing...

BTW no changes on DIGPAGERANK for my sites;!

Haha, me too! A few days ago I disappeared for a few days, expecting to come back to all kinds of new PR! But nothing happened! haha

 

Agreed. I think this is another one of those updates in which most homepages will not be updated but only a few sites here and there. Everyone will most likely keep the current pr they have. I know this will make some of you happy and some of you not so happy.

I disagree, I think G is on a fine line of completely pissing off to many people if they just update a "select" few sites. I think the minor changes have been they were working on something. Didn't Matt Cutts mention this in his blog a week or two ago?
I believe the update is near. Complete rollout.

 

I think majority of us expecting to have a PR update on our site but most of us are frustrated of what we expected. Better luck next time. Focus on link building.

I must say that I agree completely. This update has taken alot of time. The BL export began over 8 days ago. I think that with the removal of the supplemental results tags, Google has made some pretty major changes. I believe that there may be have been some algorithm changes to PR calculations.
