Stompernet Is NOT Worth The Money

With all the hype I have been seeing regarding Stompernet, I just had to make this post to offer another perspective. The following is just my opinion and I am writing it to help people make a more informed decision.

I joined Stompernet 6 months ago, got caught up in the hype and really had high hopes. But the $800 a month was just not worth it. I recently left.

This $1 offering will get you a sneak peak, but maybe you won't get a good idea of what it will or will not do for you until you fork over the monthly $800, I am just not sure on this.

And a lot of well-known web marketers are slingin' Stompernet themselves, and saying how great it is, but many of them are affiliates getting paid for referrals, so be careful.

I just figured people should hear another side of the story.

I've never heard of Stompernet. I can't imagine paying $800 a month though. I don't care how good it claims to be...

Such hypes have been surfacing for AGES. They all follow the same principle, "To be a millionaire, write a book on how to be one". So they get a step further and develop some videos, which I will only term as idiotic, and rehashed versions of all existing products in the visual form.

As they may not be making money on their own, they get a guaranteed $800 from each member who "THINKS" he can. If one thinks online business is all about hyped up products, an extra hyped up ONE page salesletter, then he'd better quit.

    Regards,
    ARonald.

Didn't think so. And (forum as big & active as) digitalpoint is free so why pay $800/month to join a forum that's just starting out?

I just joined their $1 trial which basically allows you limited access to one of their forums. If this is what StomperNet is all about, a forum, then I don't think it's really worth the money.

But then again, those successful people really make me think there's something special about the group, I'll stick around with this $1 trial for a while and see how it goes... so far not impressive... :(

I signed up for $1 30 day trial .... it's a bit early for me to say one way or the other if it's worth paying $800 a month for.
First impression wasn't good, I went straight to the forum and found you can only view one reply to each thread.
The second thing I noticed was the number of members, not that many ..... considering I have been receiving spam from affiliates trying to get me to join on a daily basis for over a year I expected a lot more people. The third thing I noticed was of those same affiliates who have been extolling the virtures of stompernet i could only find one who is a member.

As I only took a quick look through the site I obviously missed a lot. I put a couple of hours aside tonight to check it out properly.

I guess one thing I can say ... it's only $1 so it's worth that just to get a look inside.

it really depends on how much effort you can put to learn from it. obviously, some guys can earn much more because of it, but some can't.

    it is not a beginner.

why would you spent 800$ on joining the web site rather than spend those money for your own site?

there are many free services and forums on the net that you can use and join to marketing your site. (like digital point) I would rather spend it on my site to get more traffic and backlinks for it.

just a rant so i didnt specific to anyone. it's very nice of you that come to tell us your experiences.

Didn't need a couple of hours lol ... every place I went I ran into "This is for full members only, sign up here for full membership".

Nope wrong again, it's not worth the $, it will just frustrate you like you wouldn't believe.

It may not be a scam but it's bordering on it ... a lot of very well worded "promises" were made by affiliates giving the distinct impression that for $1 you would be given full access to Spompernet for a 30 day trial. Not once were the words, limited access, used, by the affiliates or the owners.

I really don't see their point, if they gave full access and it delivered people would be joining up in droves at the end of the trial.
As it is they are just pissing off the ones who paid the dollar right from the start. Their chances of actually getting anyone to join at the $800 per month level are close to zero.
People in general will sign up for anything if they think it's genuinely going to help them but if the smallest breach of trust enters the equation then the marriage is over before it begins.

Exactly. If you'll spend $400 per month ordering good copywriters to write good content, and spend $400 per month buying links...

...hell, you'll earn definitely more than following this stupid advice. Listen people at digitalpoint, and you'll get the same amount of good advice -- and you will save $800 each month.

I just came across this post and thought I'd comment. $800/mnt is a ton of money, for sure. I would say that this is awesome for eccomerce site owners, maybe not much more than that. Bottom line, you have to have a good monetization model in place e.g. it can't be adsense most likely (unless you have a lot of sites).

If you have a solid site, then stompernet will pay for itself in the training they provide regarding traffic building, SEO, and converstion testing. They also have a super sweet link building/article trading network that blows away about anything you've seen.

Personally, I've went from $13k/month/revenues to $55k/month/revenues since I joined. Not saying its worth it for everyone, but I wouldn't trade it.

Just my 2cents. They're probably opening it up again in Oct i would guess.

Honestly you don't want to know ... they are just a group who are ripping people off .... not only for the $800 per month they charge but they suck people that are new to owning websites for more money through affiliate links for products they say you must have.

It's a total con .... the $1 free trial they held was rubbish. The month ran out when you had finished building your site, (something that they drew out, it could have all been done even by a cmplete novice in a week) then you had to pay up $800 per month to follow through, not only that, all the records you had made as you went through the process were wiped as well.

I think it depends on how much you are already familiar with SEO to spend them wisely, otherwise I recommend you spend the money on StomerNet

From a beginners point of view it was great, there was plenty of valuable information i took away with me, not really sure if that still justifies the $800 price tag. Eventually canceled the subscription in the end, as the content they were offering was just getting stale. All the information you really need is on the net you just have to know where to look.

$800 per month? Yikes! They are operating on the general belief that anything super expensive must be super good. They will succeed with those who are desperate or new to the whole "making money on the Internet" idea. There are much better ways to spend your money. :)
