    How is the Directory Market shaping up this month

    Whats new this month ?

    This month seems to have kicked in with a bang for us:-

    Reviews are up :cool:

    Traffic is about the same as last month

    For me -- submissions normal. Quite natural - as very few people are yet aware of my directories. will announce them after the update.:p


    But Traffic on my main site is Rocking. Once I can touch 10K uniques - I'll get your daily listing Mod -once I hit 10KU/m:)

    Slight increase in traffic to most directories and a little additional revenue. I am hoping that the next PR update will help increase top level PR and a lot of subpage PR....:)

    this month! i have posted the top 5 links from harmu.com to the high traffic PR2 page of friends cyber club leaderboard! am planning more in that direction now!

    submissions are pretty nice on all my directories, but then this month is different, as the pr update is very very close now!:D

    Thanks Pete- I'll surely do it. But first I want to create value --so that my advertisers get real traffic.:cool:

    Still can do it --but I think 55oo uniques are not enough to charge even 10 bucks /day from clients.:(

    Lots of mention of PR but directory owners know that traffic, customer service, promotion, creativity along with integrity etc are far more important than PR or other similar monitors will ever be :)

    Just keep on promoting and trying to add articles and tutorials for my visitors to use on my blog for LinksDirec ..Also as you know,adding daily featured site on DirecBid ..Also am trying to contact coders to put a custom template on that site

    i am seeing some good things:

    traffic is up
    PR will be up soon
    QBC web directories are being exposed and the trick is no longer valid

    some bad things

    noobs are making the directory market look bad my running spammy free directories that accept any crap
    The QBC are now actually PAYING for phpLB script, and sell "PR6" links on the homepage. Ruining the image of quality phpLB sites.
    The spike in traffic may be PR mania - people wanna gain backlinks for PR update
