I wonder if other directory owners accepting pr0 or no-pagerank sites? I accept them if the quality is good but can't stop worrying if these sites may hurt my directory' rankings. Thanks for the input.
I have no problem accepting pr0 or new websites, The fact that the owner is submitting leads me to believe that the owner is serious about the site. I probably reject as many sites with pr as I do without. Thanks Brian
I look at the site and determines it quality. If I think the site is good and the owner is serious, then they'll be accepted. Simple as that. PR isn't a factor for me these days.
I do except pr0 if it looks like the are trying I except but I delete those that have a tendency of trying to do a reciprical with a different website or one that is nothing but a page of urls
I definately wouldn't turn away a site for lack of PR, none of my directories have PR yet at the moment, but i thank anyone who has purchased in them. I look to the future potential of a site and im glad that many do the same.
Its frustrating to know that some people base everything around pr. As previously said pr is no indication of quality. Usually just means its a new site. Take a little longer to look at the site and consider the work thats been put in instead.
What's PR got to do with a good site? Anyone who turns away a site based purely on PR is either incredibly naive or just plain stupid. Mind you, the site does have to contain quality content.
Why not if it is a quality website? Every website was PR0 once upon a time. Maybe except Google. I also list the websites by submission dates, not PR and hence a PR0 website do not have to go to the end of the list after the submission.
