how to put ads in wordpress

Hello friends
I have wordpress at http://www.jhunkar.com
I want to place an advertismsnet below Home & About links.Please see the site to get the diea of what i m saying.
Please tell me how to do it.

I think member is asking about the file names.

Try Header and footer etc.

Basically depends on where you want to see your ads.
Play with the tempate files one after the other.

 

Along with header and footer do try sidebar as well.

Since the title of the thread is 'how to put ads' so i think user might be asking for the way leading to make changes. Well, put the ad code in header, footer and or sidebar files on your server.

 

In your dashboard, go to Presentation, and then click on Theme Editor. On the side, select the Header file, and locate in the code where the menu item placement is. Paste your ad code underneath that and it should appear where you want it. You may need to play around with the <br /> tags and maybe centering to get the ads to look neat.
