Great post John, I have no experience with membership sites, but recently I have been thinking about starting one. After reading your post & all the other ones, I must admit, I am more & more interested! Can`t hardly wait for part 2! To Your Success, Dale Long
hey John, are you an affiliate of Ann Sieg the Renegade Network Marketer... She offers the same thing you offer but its all done for you in one package at www.ThomasKrown.com
good post John..nice to share your angle. ONe thing all need to keep in mind, is to get paying members for your site(s), you need regular, fresh content worth paying FOR..not an easy feat for many to produce and reproduce across many topics....
Not true, my traffic exchange creates income from selling a product that I do not create or update. Virtual Credits and higher commissions for paid members. There are ways. It just takes a bit of ingenuity.
I am currently working on putting Step two into a nice format. Would anyone be interested in a free PDF of step 2 so it will be easy to put aside and reference when needed?
Ok. For the rest of us..... Anyone care to explain what exactly a "Membership site" is? I write eBooks and have email subscribers. How is this technique different?
The technique is different because with a membership site, your members become your affiliates and help you build your list and sales almost for you.
Oh, Ok. Something to consider. I've been looking to set up a similar program to create an eBook affiliate program, but that is a whole separate issue.
It is all part of the explanation. It's free and there is no obligation. I believe going through the process will help you better grasp the concepts that I relay in the second part.
John: a Question. You use www.emailaces to send emails. I checked their rates... and those seemed extremely low (too low - with unlimited emails which sounds suspicious), so I have to ask what's your experience with them. Many people I've asked uses www.aweber.com - and they have certain limits on how many emails you can send etc. (which makes sense, since it's a question about bandwidth). Anyway, any problems with emailaces?
EmailAces is just as respected as Aweber. It is owned by Gary Ambrose, on of the top online marketers. I have had no problems with his service at all.
For my 2 cents regarding Aweber & E-mail Aces... Both deliver well for me. I am more comfortable with Aweber...but that is just Habit
