    you go to google and type google submit for page ranking then google will provide you their google tool. do not worry.

    is submitting a sitemap of your site to google is also a bad move to do?

    Both submitting a site into seach engines and directories AND building natural links to the site is useful and effective. I don't think one will do without the other one.
