Not a member personally, but one of my employees is, and would say it's worth it, depending on your current degree of knowledge. If your already very versed on SEO, it probably wont bring you enough new information to be worth the monthly fee.
I think seomoz kind of jumped the shark when they started charging for membership. It doesn't seem to have that much good info and news for individual webmasters- more geared to bigger companies and e-tailers it seems to me now. Kind of a shame, but the fact is I just don't read it that much anymore.
i'm only a member of google search it tells me what i want . i'm only write the magic word and it tells me
I stopped reading when they went to the membership model. Their content was ok for free but it was never good enough to pay for. If you read this forum and other SEO blogs (and there are so many of those) you will find all the info you need.
I play around with their page strength for awhile it's fun. but for paying to be a member i don't think i need to do that. However i enjoy reading this forums soo much.
I don't think SEOmoz is really worth it, but there are plenty of free blogs on seo that are worth checking out. Also a membership for Webmaster World is relatively cheap and it has lots of good advice/info as well.
I was considering joining for a month just to see how the service helps. However lately i've noticed there have been some problems with the tools and I would hate to pay for a service where the tools don't work 100% of the time.
seomoz is a scam the only reason the dude got known cuz he be chetin check this http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/thread1113.html why do business with someone who be lyin to people and tricking them He got ahead cuz he be the best lyer. He say is sorry, but who cares. You can be a proud cheater or a sorry ass cheater.
calbertdyer, I find that rather insulting. I don't know Rand personally, but one thing I can assure that he is not, is a scammer. I admire his work, just like I admire the work of every talented professional in this industry, and having people throw stones at my peers without any justification pisses the hell out of me.
Pedro, not knowing Rand, how are you going to assure that...? I mean, you are basing that on his reputation alone, correct? I'm not saying for sure that he is indeed scamming people, but there definitely is some evidence that points in the general direction of less than total honesty. Read this, then come back and give your thoughts please: http://smackdown.blogsblogsblogs.com/2007/08/06/rand-fishkin-the-troll-defense/ -Michael
Pretty cool blogpost. I don't like how he dissed Aviva and shot himself in the foot with it proving his own tool worthless.
mvandemar, I always assume people are honest until they prove otherwise. I will check out the link you provided though.
