I understand that since you are such a "straight" guy, you don't like to talk about *** and instead prefer to pray to stay "straight". ;):D

yes, he is...he always talks about little willy's, gtech's balls, little boys, etc. However, when you point it out, he tries to turn the tide...hence the reason he is using the word "Straight" when replying to my posts...he probably thinks it makes me mad or something...

I'm starting to think the P&R forums is less about intelligent discussion on issues, and more about having fun bashing people with differing opinions...

In which case, d16man, you have a stupid username, and your sig links are stupid colors...

haha, kidding... that reminded me of 3rd grade though... good times...

what color scheme are you using for DP? The colors might look different...also, I did not choose the colors, the people that buy my sig links do.

As it regards #2 I still don't see how the question about global warming became an issue of conservative versus democrat or liberal versus conservative.

Theoretically a conservative would be against extensive government regulations and I could see having problems w/ rules from epa, etc.

IMHO this administration takes a look at an issue, see how its partisan supporters, or financial backers would treat it....and then creates a spin on it.

In fact it appears this administration has battled science coming out of its own offices:

the surgeon general was muzzled, NASA and NOAA scientists were muzzled, Fish and Wildlife scientists were muzzled.

In many ways coming up with alternative fuel sources and developing ways to counter man made heat sources create tremendous opportunities for new businesses, new work and new economic endeavors.

I don't see how question #2 became a politically charged issue.

earlpearl, are you aware of the massive amount of scientists and weather experts that counter this theory? It's not just one sided.

    http://www.ens-newswire.com/ens/aug2007/2007-08-06-02.asp
I simply cannot understand the blind hatred and how some allow it to say some of the most absurd things.

As for how it's politically charged, that one is simple. Liberals are dynamically self loathers. They love placing blame for something on their country. That's a given. We all know this. No big secret there.

Conseratives take more of a position of "let's see the evidence." Not unlike myself, here in the forum. I don't participate much in the Google section about PR updates and ranking techniques. Why? Because it's all speculation. It's all opinion. I don't argue opinion very well. But I can argue well when I have references and facts on my side.

For every person that says "but, but, but scientists have said it's all our fault" there are as many, if not more, that say "whoa, hold on a sec, this is not true and here is why."

I have a bookmark folder full of such references I've been saving over the past year, with this very topic. One side says it exists, the other side says it doesn't. Meanwhile, al gore may very well be the single most largest individual contributor to the supposed "global warming." I find this hypocrisy very disturbing. Do as I say, not as I do.

oh god does it hurt your head to be so wrong all of the time

most of scientists who deny global warming, and it is a small percentage, are funded by oil companies

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20122975/site/newsweek

that is total bullshit and you know it, more like there is a scientist that says one thing and then there is some fringe conservative websites of dubious origins saying its not true and then not saying why

lol, fact and references from far right blogs, like your WMD references where you believe blogs over the president, what a joke you have become.
