Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

ditto, none of my sites show any change.

 

well thr PR update has begun a few days ago, few of my pr0's got pr4
but still waiting for my pr6's to get pr7's or pr8's
so i hope pr update is not over yet

Exactly. It wont change a thing, except of course if your a link broker.

does G usually change pr from grey to 0 and then to real value?

 

Yesterday I performed a test and it seems to indicate that the snapshot date was either July 3 or July 4. On July 2, I posted two blog posts. The first is showing N/A on a few datacenters and a PRO on others. The second post for that day show all N/As. All posts prior to that day all show some PR N/A and PRO depending on which DC you are viewing. All posts made since that day are show PR N/A on all DCs.

But I would sincerely like a blog-post from you on your blog. Being an expert in the field -your opinion - on PR fever of DP members ( including myself) would make a great impact on people online.
Maybe -even Matt Cutts and Google would take your analysis seriously.

Yes, over at seochat dot com, they have a good multiple link popularity tool that verifies that point exactly.

It moved from PR 0 - to PR2 yesterday morning.

True, if your PR changes. Otherwise, the update will come and go and you won't hear from Smart Page Rank.

 

By the time smart page rank announce the PR update thay will be 100 posts in this thread and 5 new thread about the Update

This is my first time here at DP during a PR update...is it always like this? Like watching a space shuttle launch.

 

Only you know when those are going to launch.

 

Could it be that there are problems with the update? Seems like they update one DC with new backlinks, then they revert back to old values, then back to new values again...maybe algorithms changes also?

 

Kind of ... although the launch gets cancelled 5 or 6 times, takes 3 weeks and is never as exciting as everyone expected!

 

This is being a slow process this year, 3 out of 50+ sites updated, givin over half will prolly stay the same i have a few more that should be changing...

Hurry google demons
