1 in 5 google employees are millionaires

Shoemoney/Paris, big whoop... I met Karch Kiraly at a volleyball game the other night, we talked for like 5 minutes. He asked if I'd teach him to hit. OK that last part is a lie.

 

I read that fact in Fortune magazine. It is a good stat. I don't think it is something too significant, but definately a marketing tool for the best of the best to go to Google for a job.

 

I doubt 1 out of 5 GG employees is millionnaire.

Hehe well it's good to work for google then. Most of us here work with google, and I guess some of us will become millionares!

 

Actually it wouldn't surprise me at all. It makes sense since they probably all had stock options...and the stock has obviously skyrocketed since they went public. So yes, this does make sense.

If I keep contributing to my 401k I will be well-over a millionaire by the time a retire. Unfortunately it won't be that big of a deal by then.

 

I wonder if this stat has changed at all since the thread started over 2 years ago!
