I missed another site selling for less than 2 months of revenue.

So, I'm still hunting. If you're considering selling a site, I'm willing to pay up to 3 month of revenue...

You should have grabbed it up as most sites, if their owners have any sense, sell sites with 10 month's worth of revenue.

 

Maybe it can comfort you a bit to hear that sales that are to good to be true actually is to good to be true. Always!!

 

Only 2 months of revenue? :| Those site must created 2/3 months ago, am i right? I have my site on Auction. Normally a established genuine website will ask for at least 24 months revenue.

No, not true. I find at least one site for sale at 3 months revenue or less everyday.
Even me, I was selling my www.eforeclosureguide.com doing $300/month for $400-$500. And nobody wanted it...Oh well, too bad...

domain is over a year old. i just recently bought the site and school starts in 15 days so i wont have time to run it thats why im selling. i can ask the previous seller if you are interested in the site.

 

2-3 months of profit would be pretty good.. at least you can resell them immediately for 4-5 times more

 

I've never been able to sell a site for 5 months or more of revenue.
The highest I could do was selling one of my site for $6,000 on sitepoint. The site brings me about $1,400/month. The highest bidder never paid...

 

You don't need time. It can be indexed in a couple of days doing nothing...unless there is a problem and G doesn't want to index it...

 

that depends on the site of course.
But if the maintenance level needed to run it is low, like you don't need to post every day to keep the traffic and the costs aren't high, you can see the sites usually sell for 10-18 months of profits, on sitepoint, dnforum and here too.

 

Then why do u want to sell your site at 1.5 month rev if your looking
to buy sites at 3x monthly? Doesn't make sense to me.

 

To make more money. I bought a $200/month site for $250. I make it doing $500 and sell it for $650. I then bought a site doing $550/month for $650 and making it doing $900/month. I sold it $1000...and so on...

 

thats pretty amazing, is the traffic from google, or ppc ads etc?

A bit of all, depending of the site...
I look everywhere on several sites, from ebay to sitepoint and a dozen other in between...But don't get me wrong, they are not bargain...half of them, I can't even sell them at 2 months of revenue...

 

why won't you just keep them and get the revenue then?

Most content sites that get stable traffic from search engines I see selling for 10+ months easily on forums.. anyway pm some sites you're selling for the 2-3 months revenue, maybe I could take them off your hands

It's not the first time that you 'brag' about your failed attempts to profit from 'super' opportunities, or about the foreclosure guide that you mentioned.

You seem to be what people would call a 'market manipulator'. You spread false rumors in order to buy more sites on the cheap. Classic, old fashioned, almost worked until i came across this thread

The one I missed today generates $500/month.
It was for sale at $1500, $1250, $1000 then $900 and sold for $750...to give you an idea...
