Guys (ronaldmarva, BuzzBoss , mtgm, ramanladhani , djrishi, zexy, francesca010104, gringo, abw1302, populartemplate, bobchrist, khz)

It seems you're all interested in the Quality traffic, my service (leadsByVideo.com) that I mentioned earlier un-officially launched just last week.

It is totally free and promises the "Highest quality traffic available anywhere online".

It will officially launch this Thursday with our press release, promotional viral videos, articles, and a massive social networking and PPC campaign.

If you jump on board now you'll be in the prime position to benefit from the influx of interested webmasters and business owners.

I know there are a lot of services promising targeted traffic, so if you're in doubt whether LeadsByVideo can deliver, check out the "Why it works section". I'm sure you'll find it quite eye opening.

If you have any questions feel free to post them here and I will reply so everyone can benefit..

This is a no brainer.....quality traffic is always what anyone is shooting for...unless you make ALL your money on CPM ads.

Quality is always better than quantity.

I mean what are you trying to do? Sell them on something right?

If you're selling them a How To Get Good Grades In College, would you rather have the 75 year old black man from Zimbabwe OR... would you rather have a college student from the USA?

Let me make this a bit more clear.

would you rather have 10,000 75 year old black men from Zimbabwe seeing your site or having 100 college students?

    Quality > Quantity

It does not matter what you do, sell or have on your website. Quality traffic will click more ads, will buy more and make you money :)

I've noticed that you can tell which sites will be around longer and remain viable through the type of traffic they get. The sites looking for a quick buck will constantly just try to get huge numbers to make more on ads, but the minute they lose their Digging luck or lose a couple key referrers, they're screwed, and since most people likely got there by random luck chances are they won't come back.

On the other hand, the site only getting 2 thousand unique visitors a day may not get nearly as much per month, but their visitors will keep coming back specifically to go to the site, get friends to come, etc.

    leadsbyvideo.com is not a game... :/

Its a service whereby you can have your video shown to prospective customers and gain targeted leads.

Honestly I don't see this as SPAM.... Zorde was simply replying to the thread with information which he thought would be useful.

I am actually using LBV and its actually working nicely for me..

I think it's obvious that Zorde started this thread so he can advertise his own services.

    As for the question...
It depends on the circumstances, but 99% of the times i would take the 10x less visitors but they are targeted.

here's one example where I would take the 10,000 non-quality visitors... in a proxy site with 150 buttons of toplists. 10,000 visitors (quality or not) will inflate toplist scores and from there I will get over 1000 quality visitors.

This thread was started for the purpose of gathering some market research that would feed into my launch campaign, it was not intended to be a site promotion.

Here are the findings I found relevant from this thread and other research I did:

There are webmasters who focus on building sites to suit the search engines (mainly Google), They focus on content, keywords, and related incoming links. Lets call these webmasters Group A.

Those in group A judge success by their rank in the search engines and can achieve considerable organic traffic to their sites. For them the optimal business model is often to send that traffic off their site through the use of PPC advertising. In effect they earn from directing their traffic to others.

The other type of webmaster (Group B) are sellers or promoters. They build formidable business models and look for customer acquisition, return visitors, customer loyalty, and high conversion rates. They want visitors to spend more time on their site so they can sell more to them either directly or through back end sales.

Ultimately Group A are looking for Quantity in Traffic, while Group B are looking for Quality in Traffic. Of course both want some quality so would insist on the traffic being from real people browsing.

Doing this research is important if you're ever looking to invest time or money in a system or service for traffic. You must look closely at the type of traffic you will be receiving and determine if it fits your ideal visitor profile.

Consider what sort of traffic you would be happy with and what you would pay for that traffic. Would you be satisfied with traffic that:
-Simply signs up to your mailing list but never performs or contributes to your community site?
    - Is going to contact you wanting personalised answers to questions?
    - Actively tells others about you?

So in summary not only is traffic not traffic, but Quality is not Quality. Quality Traffic can only be defined by how well the traffic meets the ideal visitor profile of the site.

Let me know what you think?
