Directory Designs: Do you prefer Light or Dark?

In terms of Directory Designs, do you prefer light or dark color schemes, or are you indifferent (no poll option for you! )?

I will vote for light

 

Depends on the colours and colour combinations.

 

Looks like I am the only one who voted dark...

it is a very tough choice because light or dark .... whichever looks good i like it ...

because both can be made user friendly

95% of us prefer lighter designs, interesting.

I wonder if this preference influences where we submit, etc.

 

Light themes are easier to read in my opinion

 

for me sometimes I won't submit to a directory if its to dark looking as its sometimes hard to see links etc..............

 

I do prefer light, but Deep Link Directory is an exception.

Light for sure and not just directories but websites in general. Much easier on the eyes.
