you're talking about links. IMHO links are good for PR, or where are you placing the links that the links are your primary source for traffic (as you say ?) what about social bookmarketing ?
lol if I had all the time in the world I could not set down and teach everybody everything which generally I don't do that with out consulting fees, but I get so many calls every day asking how i got my rankings and what I did to get them. I write about all this on my blog every day.
social bookmarking, nah you let other people do that of course. Doing it your self wont' have any effect what so every unless you wrote up some baity content. Like as in a link bait.
also depends on what type of links you have contextual links are good for ranking and high quality sponsored listings are good for page rank. Right now my pr is reading 3, but I expect it to be a 6-7 on pr update, I just started promoting it in dec. and from the last 3 months things really ramped.
Just one question, how long it takes you become from zero to hero actually ? How many years ? P.S. you are at my age, and making 10 times more than me, I am jealous

I assume you are already in it. Or even selling your own products. Still will not believe if it's from Adsense or so in 6 monthes
I could probably make it from adsense if i wanted to, but thats not my target right now. We sale contextual links, directory submissions and etc. I could easily generate income through adsense by ranking very competitive keywords that draw in traffic and then monetize the whole website with adsense, so say for example rank keywords that are paying 3-5 dollars per click then generate 1000 visitors per day , but have the site completely filled with ads, or maybe just a nice paragraph or page with some information if you know what I mean, so most the traffic will go right into the ads.
wow no money from Asense. I know some guys that make $250 a day on adsense ,and some money from other things, but usually adsense plays into it somewhere. Interesting.
we don't do adsense, I might offer some advertising on the site here soon, but were not to much into adsense quite yet. I'm going to get into affiliate marketing, but most of our passive income comes from other things. Any one can generate loads of cash through a site after hours of tail and error and just finding out what works for them. just takes a lot of effort and yes it can be stressful at times.

You know I just re-read your question. When I said its all about links, what I was referring to that its all about links when it comes to ranking. Now if you trying to get direct traffic I would suggest buying high authority links from established domains with anchor text too. (mainly a site thats getting heavy traffic).
